Cookie’s Country Chicken started in the galley of a workboat in the oil fields of South Louisiana. Founder and “Chief Steward” Brian Chandler spent ten years in the maritime industry working on various boats all over the world but found his calling cooking for large work crews in the down south. It was there he learned that fried chicken was the one meal that brought everyone together. Cookie’s Country Chicken has grown to become one of Seattle’s most popular fried chicken destinations.
